After years of going through my own healing process and transformation journey, including much study, I know first hand how you are feeling and how to dissolve the hidden emotional trauma keeping you stuck so you can finally transform your reality and live the life you've been wanting.
After years of trying to understand what happened to me, I learned and understood that in order to survive, I had to disown my trauma.
My nervous system lived adapted to live on protective survival responses. Parts of me became hypervigilant and I was constantly filled with overwhelm, self doubt, confusion and fear or numbness and dissociation. I spent decades hiding from the world, pretending I was ok and felt very lonely and misunderstood. I also know today that part of me became very resilient, overachieving and kept moving.
I was determined to heal and take control of my life and happiness so I kept looking for answers...
My healing journey began when I studied psychology and was sent to talk therapy and support groups. I devoured all the self-help books, went to endless workshops, courses, years of therapy and all these were very healing and helpful but I was still reliving emotional trauma. It was something beyond my cognitive control. I kept feeling stuck.
I found Polyvagal Theory and for the first time in my life everything started to make sense. It´s been an awakening experience.
I continued my research and began to study the work of Bessel van der Kolk and the polyvagal theory of Stephen Porges. For the first time in my life something made sense to my experience. Working with my Nervous System gave me a sense of agency and I began to heal on a somatic level. Since then, I have continued to research, train and learn. I found a trauma-informed practitioner and my life began to change. I finally understood that working at the root of the problem: the nervous system, working with the younger parts and healing somatically were the missing links in my own healing process and in my work with clients.

My therapeutic coaching style is warm, direct, and research-based. I am a trauma-informed psychotherapist and coach which means that it will be helpful to understand any adverse and traumatic events in your life history and life context in order to make sense of current symptoms. This also means that I highly value you having a sense of agency and choice about your process and our therapeutic coaching relationship.
